Festival of Chaplaincy Save the Date card

Lincolnshire Festival of Chaplaincy

The First Festival of Chaplaincy Lincoln Cathedral 21st to 23rd March 2025

Joining with chaplaincies from all areas of County life to celebrate with a spectacular dinner in the Cathedral Nave on Friday 21st March, exhibitions of chaplaincy work on Saturday 22nd March 10 am till 4 pm and a special service of thanksgiving on Sunday 23rd March at 3.45 pm.

The First Lincolnshire Farmers’ Carol Service

Sunday 22nd December 3 pm at Bailgate Methodist Church, Lincoln.
Enjoy a traditional Christmas Carol Service with friends and family.
There will be readings by some familiar faces from the Lincolnshire farming community, music from Lincoln musicians and singers, along with a visit from Santa Claus.
Everyone is welcome.

Meryl Ward and friends will be walking the Viking Way from 29th April till the 10th May to raise funds for LRAC. Join her on one of the days along the 147 miles of the Viking Way. Getting active is good for your physical and mental health. A walk with a friend can be a great opportunity to connect and talk about how things are going.

Open Afternoon with High Tea at the Old Rectory Epworth

Saturday 13th April 1.30 pm

To start celebrating Rev’d Canon Alan Robson’s 25 years of Agricultural Chaplaincy in Lincolnshire, Rev’d Angy Long, Methodist Chair of the Lincolnshire District is hosting an open afternoon at The Old Rectory Epworth the family home of the Wesley’s. 

An opportunity to look around the house and gardens and to learn more about the life of the Wesley family.  Followed by a delicious High Tea celebrating rural chaplaincy in Greater Lincolnshire.  Booking required for catering.
